IntroductionThis course is designed for Web Designers who have acquired intermediate-level skills in web page creation and are looking for tools to take their pages to the next level--interactivity. We will examine the capabilities of several tools which can help you create interactive and sophisticated elements for your web pages. Once we’ve examined the tools available, you will know what steps to take to learn the tool(s) that are most appropriate for your web development needs.
ObjectiveAt the conclusion of this class, you will be able to:
- Describe the capabilities of scripts and programs available to add interactivity and sophistication to web pages.
- Determine which tools fit your web development needs and identify resources for further learning.
PrerequisitesDreamweaver Advanced, Fireworks Advanced, and Web Design by Example or equivalent skills and experience. Since this course is designed to be a bridge between Web Designer Certification and Professional Development, completion of all preceding Web Designer Certification classes is strongly recommended.
